Meetings and other Branch events

Monthly General Meetings and Speaker evenings

General meetings are usually held on the last Friday of every month. Notice of an upcoming meeting and the proposed speaker presentation will be emailed to you. You can also view the schedule and details on this website. Please note: the venue does change.

The general format of each meeting is an informal gathering of drinks from 6.00pm-6.30pm, General Branch Meeting 6.30pm-7.00pm, Dinner 7.00pm-8.00pm, Guest Speaker 8.00pm-9.00pm. Quality food and wine is served prior to the guest speaker. Members are encouraged to advise the Executive Committee of items they would like to discuss in General Business before the meeting, rather than on the night.

Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting is the last meeting of the year and includes the Executive changeover. This is a formal dinner with a speaker who is bound to entertain and spouses are encouraged to attend — an event not to be missed.

The 2019 AGM will be held at the end of the day of the November Day Course, 8th November, see details below.

Annual Day Course

The Branch runs a Day Course usually held in May. Any profit from the Day Course is used to subsidise our General Branch Meetings so that members can enjoy listening to quality speakers at appealing venues. In 2019 the Branch is hosting two Day Courses, the first was held on 7th June 2019, the second will be on November 8th.
