General meetings are usually held on the last Friday of every month. Notice of an upcoming meeting and the proposed speaker presentation will be emailed to you. You can also view the schedule and details on this website. Please note: the venue does change.
The general format of each meeting is an informal gathering of drinks from 6.30pm-7.00pm, Dinner 7.00pm-8.00pm, General Branch Meeting 8.00pm-8.30pm, Guest Speaker 8.30pm-10pm. Quality food and wine is served prior to the guest speaker. Members are encouraged to advise the Executive Committee of items they would like to discuss in General Business before the meeting, rather than on the night.
The next Branch General Meeting will be held on Friday 21st February 2025 at Trinity Wharf, in Tauranga. The Speaker is Professor Neil Meredith presenting on the topic 'Making dental implants work and last. The Tesla principle'. Click here to view the Notice of Meeting.
Our Annual General Meeting is the last meeting of the year and includes the Executive changeover. The 2025 Branch AGM will be held in November.
The Branch runs a Day Course usually held in May. Any profit from the Day Course is used to subsidise our General Branch Meetings so that members can enjoy listening to quality speakers at appealing venues. In recent years we have also had a Day Course in November.
The 2025 May Day Course will be held at Hobbiton in Matamata on Friday 9th May 2025. The title of the event is Fear and Anxiety in our Dental Environment - How to recognise, understand and manage it. Click here to view the Day Course flyer.
